Many Horsham laxers gathered over the Memorial Day weekend to take in the NCAA lacrosse championships at the Linc. We enjoyed a great tailgate and watched some great lax! Here the boys got autographs and posed with lax legend Paul Rabil.  Brenden Kirn and Nathan Scavo take in a close up view of the Maryland Dog pile after their overtime victory over Brown. Everyone had a great time and we look forward to the next tailgate opportunity!

HLC Alum reunite at DIII powerhouse Salisbury

As young Horsham laxers Pierre Armstrong and Jared Walls became best of buddies.  They developed a great chemistry on and off the field, but after their stellar HLC careers they went separate ways to high school.  Pierre had an outstanding career at HHHS earning many lacrosse achievements and awards.  Jared enjoyed the same success in football and lacrosse at Lasalle.  Now the boys are together again at D3 national champion Salisbury with yet another HLC alum Kyle Lawlor.  Kyle recently transferred to Salisbury from St. John's University after an outstanding lax career at Chestnut Hill Academy.

We wish all three of the boys the best in their academic and lacrosse career.

Horsham Lax in Jamaica

Horsham Lax in Jamaica

Blake Target, former HLC player has been volunteering for Fields of Growth / Lacrosse Volunteer Corp for the past year.  The organization was founded to build lacrosse in Jamaica and Uganda.  He has run several equipment drives and we have shipped down to Jamaica several large loads of gear, clothing, shoes, etc.  Support has been great from the Philadelphia lacrosse community.  The winter volunteer groups just began this week and there are pictures being posted to Facebook of the kids participating in the camps.  Posted is a shot of an Horsham Lax pinnie that Blake donated with one of his collections.

Way to go Blake.....grow the game!

There are many former Horsham players enjoying lax beyond High School. The club is very proud to have been the foundation for which their careers were started. The clubs success can be attributed to the fact many of these young men come back to help out with the younger kids. We wish them all luck in the upcoming season!!
