Welcome to HLC's home on the web!

Horsham Lacrosse Club (HLC) provides the youth of both Hatboro Borough and Horsham Township with an affordable opportunity to learn the skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship that is part of the Lacrosse Tradition. Just as important, we focus on making certain the players have fun, and that HLC acts as a feeder program for the Hatboro-Horsham High School Lacrosse Team.

Summer Update

HLC Families,
I hope you're enjoying your summer lacrosse seasons! As a township organization, we feel that it's important for our players to continue to develop skills playing for summer club teams. While there can be considerable $$$ spent, it's the best way to sharpen your skills and compare yourselves to the best out there.
On the home front:
Our A1 team won 2015 Championship against Marple Newtown and ended the season 11-0! Great job and we wish the boys luck as they move on to High School.
Our A3 and C1 teams also had a great years finishing 8-2 (A3 was tied for 1rst)
Going Forward...
We'll begin summer evaluations, clinics and pick/up games on the following:
All Tuesdays: July 14,21,28 and Aug. 4. 6-7:30 at Cedar Hill open to rising grades 3-8.
(Important) based on our clinics etc... Fall teams will be created.
Not every HLC player will be placed on a fall roster unless selected by the coaches!
look for our Scooper program (K-2) to begin this fall... A great way to introduce our youngest to the sport!

For Goalies:
We're luck to have access to Kurt Dick former HLC/HH goalie going on to Moravian.
(Kurt's# 267-987-1130 & email ) Kurt does a great job with individual goalie training. please contact him directly.
More of the stronger players are choosing to stay and play with their township programs. Also, the stronger "elite travel programs" encourage their players to continue to play for the township squads. The lacrosse community realizes that it's important to grow the game in youth/township programs first.

See you next Tuesday,

The club has decided on the new look for this upcoming season. This year we are going with reversible tops and shorts and have added a Mad Hatter logo.

There are many former Horsham players enjoying lax beyond High School. The club is very proud to have been the foundation for which their careers were started. HLC Announces plans for Alumni Games and Day!

This coming spring 2015 HLC plans to have an Alumni Day featuring two Alumni games. The first game will feature all former HLC players currently in High School and the second game will feature former HLC players in college and older. The games will follow a schedule of HLC games and the event will be held at Cedar Hill Park. (Date & Times to be announced later) We plan on having food, beverage and music and the event is open to players, family and friends! There are plans to make this a charitable event as the club should always give back to the community. Those interested in helping with this event should talk to the coaches at the winters clinics.
